A flotation machine is installed in a technological line used for processing useful minerals. Feed and flotation reagents are delivered to the feed box from where they flow into the flotation cells.
Due to the rotational movement of the impellers and the air supplied under the impellers, the pulp in the flotation machine cells undergoes the flotation process. As a result, a layer of froth product (concentrate) forms on the surface of the pulp, while the waste material flows near the bottom of the machines into the waste box, and is then piped outside. The froth product (concentrate) from each cell of the machine is scraped off by scrapers into troughs located along both sides of the machine, from where it is discharged for further processing.
